Helen F Francis

Helen Francis of Park Hills, passed away Saturday April 9, 2022, at her residence surrounded by loved ones she was 83 years of age. She was born Friday June 3, 1938, in Glover, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Ethel Emiline (Cowin) Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene, Jack, Robert, John Richard and Donald Dunn; sisters, Sherrye Laplant, Delorse Lawson; grandson, Jordon McConnell.

Helen is survived by her children, Donna (husband Dennis) Skaggs, James McConnell, Elizabeth Gough and Robin McConnell; bonus children, Susan (husband Mike) Orsburn, Doll (husband Tony) Yocca, Michelle Day and Camilla Francis; siblings, Glorideen Henson, Bennie (wife Margret) Dunn, Marilyn Kennedy; grandchildren, Stephanie (husband Michael) Boyer, Tonya (husband Brant) Clark, James McConnell, Jr., Jonny McConnell, and Shane Fischbeck; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Whitney Boyer, Tyler and Cody Clark, Abigail, Kassandra, Aiden, John Jr., Ashlynn, Aylissa, Airiona, Deanna, Bree, Camden and Conner McConnell along with several nieces, and nephews also survive.

Helen was always a hard-working beautiful lady, whom had a variety of jobs in her life time. They included working at Brown shoe company for many years, she also worked at a boarding home where she enjoyed being a caregiver. Helen worked for Terre Du Lac Country Club and managed the Chalets for several years. She was very dedicated to her job at TDL. She was always ready for a trip to the casino, she was known for sneaking off “the hill” to fetch lottery tickets for entertainment, even when her family didn’t want her driving. Helen was very dedicated to her family as well as her three Pekinese fur babies Tippy, Winston and Bitsy she had over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Benham Street Grill  406 Benham Street Bonne Terre, MO 63628
