Helen Margaret King

Helen Margaret King of Florissant, Missouri passed away October 13, 2023 at the age of 92 years. She was born April 16, 1931 in Louisville, Illinois the daughter of the late James Clarence and Ilda Belle (McSchooler) Miller. On July 2, 1955 she was united in marriage to Harold King. Helen was a mother to four sons: John King of Florissant, Missouri, Ron King (Karen) of St. Ann, Missouri, Joe King of St. John, Missouri and David King of Maryland Heights, Missouri. Eight grandchildren are left to mourn her passing: Eric, Christopher, Scott, April, Joseph, Joshua, Valerie, and Sarah, sixteen great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Harold King and her brother, James R. Miller. Helen retired from National Vendors in St. Louis, Missouri. She loved cats. She liked to watch old westerns on TV, Wagon Train and Gunsmoke were two of her favorites. She enjoyed listening to old country music. The most important thing in her life was her husband and her children. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Pitchers officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, October 16, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Meadows Cemetery next to her husband, Harold. Memorials may be made to Meadows Cemetery or any veterans organization.
