Mrs. Helen L. 'Tinsley' Yates passed away early Friday, January 3, 2003, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, in Farmington, at the age of 83 years, 2 months & 2 days. Helen was born on November 1, 1919, in Elvins, MO., to Joseph S. & Lucenda Elizabeth 'Wells' Tinsley. Also preceding-in-death was: her husband, Paul Henry "Pooker" Yates (Dec. 29, 1991); also, 1 Sister, Jo Brooks & 1 Brother, Herb Tinsley. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 1 Son, Tony (& Susan) Yates, of Doe Run; 1 Sister, Flossie Eaton, of St. Louis; 4 Grandchildren: Heidi; Jordan; Jared & Holly Yates, all of Doe Run. Also, numerous Nieces; Nephews & other friends. Visitation Saturday, 6-9 p.m, resuming Sunday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Sunday, 2:00 p.m., January 5, 2003, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Rev. John Kee officiating. Interment following at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Farmington. Memorials to: Ashbrook Manor Residential Care Center.
