Helen was 93 years young at the time of her passing. She spent her life in service to others as a stay at home mother and babysitter. As a young woman, she worked as a beautician. In her 40's she worked at Murphy's Processing Plant. She was active in church and served as a Sunday School Teacher. She provided a music/devotion ministry at several nursing homes in our area for many years. She showed her love for others through a card ministry, sending cards and letters of encouragement and support to friends and acquaintances throughout her lifetime. She was an active member of The Clearview Neighbors Club. She used her hands to create beautiful quilts and embroidered items. She enjoyed playing pinochle with her friends. She, and husband, Vernon, were 4-H Leaders in our community during the 60's. She was a special, loving person to all who knew her. Grounded in the Christian Belief of salvation and eternal life, she was saved at the age of 18 at The Glover Baptist Church. We celebrate her life and thank God for the legacy she leaves her family & friends.
