Helen M. (Klob) Tripp, of Park Hills, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at her residence. She was born Wednesday, February 28, 1934 in St. Francois County. Helen was a pillar of faith and a dedicated member of Bethel General Baptist Church. She was a Boy Scout den mother for over 12 years. One of her greatest accomplishments was after raising 8 children she earned her GED and returned to collegeattaining her teaching degree and was a public school teacher for more than 20 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dewey C. Tripp and parents Everett and Hester (Bowyer) Klob.Helen is survived by daughters, Betty (Mrs. James) Charboneau of Bonne Terre and Karen Bullock of Farmington; sons, Danny Tripp and wife Rose of Bonne Terre, Richard Tripp of Park Hills, Douglas Tripp and wife Donna of Texline, TX, Kenneth Tripp of Park Hills, Nathan Tripp and wife Anita of Park Hills, and John Tripp of Texline, TX; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Holst and Ruby Halpin and brother Robert Klob.Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Monday at the Bethel General Baptist Church at 9:00 AM. The service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sidney Laxton and Rev. Tim Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials can be given to the Bethel General Baptist Church.
