Helen Mae Lukachick

     Helen Mae Lukachick, 93, of Farmington passed away May 26, 2017 at Country Meadows Nursing Home. She was born March 14, 1924 to the late Daniel Lee and Mary Rose (Ziebia) Lukachick. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anne Lukachick, Mary Hager, Eva Bieser and Catherine Parker; one brother, Mike Lukachick Sr.

     Helen was an Esther High School Graduate, she went on to college and obtained a degree in nursing.  Helen started her nursing career with the Civil Service and later worked for Shriners Hospital for a number years. Helen was a member of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Holy Orthodox Church.

     Helen is survived by four brothers, Paul (Mary) Lukachick, Roy Lukachick, Frank (Wilma) Lukachick, Joseph (Grace) Lukachick; several nieces, nephews, and other family members survive.

     Visitation will be Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with a prayer service at 7 pm. Service will be 10 am Wednesday at the C.Z. Boyer Chapel with Father Christopher Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Cemetery.
