Mrs. Helen Marie Garms passed away on Wednesday morning, February 23, 2005, at the St. Francis Medical Center, in Cape Girardeau, MO., at the age of 77 years, 11 months & 23 days. Helen was born on Feb. 28, 1927, in Rivermines, MO., to Lyman Jenkins & Nannie L. 'Smith' Seabaugh. Also preceding-in-death was 1 Brother.
Helen was: * a former IBM Operator @ Wettereau-NonFoods; * a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Scott City, MO., & a * Life Member of the Scott City VFW Post #6407 Ladie's Auxillary.
Survivors Include: her Husband, John A. Garms, of Scott City, MO. (they were married Oct. 15, 1977); 1 Daughter: Bonnie Raines, of Chaffee, MO; 2 Step-Sons: John A. Garms, II, of Arnoldville, LA & Jerry E. Garms, of Oak Ridge, MO. 1 Half-Sister: Ann Petrie, of Farmington; 3 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation starts at 9 am & Funeral Mass at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Scott City, with Rev. David Coon officiating, under direction of Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels of Scott City, MO. Phone: (573) 264.2111
Visitation: Friday, 5-8 pm, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, in Farmington. Visitation resumes Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m.
Graveside Services will be Saturday, 4 pm, Feb. 26, 2005, at New Calvary Cemetery, Farmington, with Fr. James Dyer officiating.
