Helen V. Manser

Helen V. Manser, 89, of Bonne Terre passed away February 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 24, 1921 in St. Louis. She was the oldest charter member of East Bonne Terre Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Firmon E. and Edith (Crane) Weiler; husband, Doss Edward Manser; daughter, Marilyn "Sissy" Black; four sons, Thomas Manser, David Manser, Larry Manser, Billy Manser; four grandchildren, Lisa Tidwell, Matthew Black, Jason Black, Michelle Black; great-grandchild, Brandon Gaines.Helen is survived by four children, Gary Manser, Carrie Black, Victoria Huff and Martha Wigger all of Bonne Terre. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 10 AM until 1 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 1 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Stanley Payne and Rev. Bearl Pettus officiating. Burial will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery.
