Helen Magdalene Yates

Helen Magdalene Yates of Pilot Knob, Missouri passed away January 6, 2022 at the age of 96 years. She was born September 24, 1925 in Iron Mountain, Missouri the daughter of the late Calvin and Nellie Rose (Mason) Hurst. On April 17, 1946 she was united in marriage to Robert Clifford "Rocky" Yates who preceded her in death in 1998. To this union eight children were born: Cheryl Layton (James "Bo"), Nancy Brawley of Pilot Knob, Missouri, Vickie Hogan (Rev. Terry) of Steelville, Missouri, Rosemarie Memhardt (Paul) of Ironton, Missouri, Clifford Yates (Donna) of Arcadia, Missouri, and Mark Yates (Lois) of Belleview, Missouri, and Robert Dale Yates and Judith Ann Yates who both preceded her in death. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Helen was also preceded in death by three brothers: Floyde, Curtis, and Clyde, and three sisters: Ester Hurst, Ruby Tinker and Hester Wallis, and her sons-in-law, Don Brawley and Frank Plumlee.
