Henry Lenard Stevens

Henry Lenard Stevens, age 85 of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Ste. Genevieve. He was born on January 27, 1934 in Buckhorn, Missouri, a son of William Lee and Annie Gertrude (Midcalf) Stevens. On April 1, 1967 he was united in marriage to Melva Marie Brooks, she survives in Ste. Genevieve. Other survivors include: one son – Craig Stevens of Greenville, Missouri; two daughters – Rita Klos and husband Michael of Marthsville, Missouri and Angela Stevens of Marissa, Illinois; two sisters – Letha Skaggs of Greenville, Missouri and Jean Weber of Edwardsville, Illinois and seven grandchildren – Chelsea Scott, Chivon Stevens, Christina Green, Joshua Craig, James Stevens, Amber Stevens and Zachary Craig. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ricky Stevens, five brothers and two sisters. Henry was a machinist at the Omega Tool in South Couthy, St. Louis. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm. also at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Gale Lambert officiating. Interment will be at the Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
