Herbert Eugene Mahurin
Herbert Mahurin, 87, of Farmington, passed away at Community Manor Nursing Home in Farmington on August 27, 2018. He was born on October 5, 1930 to the late Elvie and Etta Mae (Duncan) Mahurin. He was a hard worker having been an over the road truck driver for over 20 years. When he wasn’t working he liked to go fishing. Herbert was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Cross; and four brothers, Jerry Lee, Sam, Pat and Perry Mahurin,
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary Ann (Smith) Mahurin; three sons, Ron Mahurin and wife Vervia, Rob Mahurin and wife Richelle, Rod Mahurin and wife Susan, daughter, Wanda Ann Miller; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorene Snyder all survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 12:00 PM until service at 2:00 PM. with Rev. William Rawson officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
