Herby C. Wilmer

Herby C. Wilmer, 85, of Farmington passed away October 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 27, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Mabel (Henningsen) Wilmer. Herby proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County, Illinois and a diehard Chicago Cubs fan.  

Herby is survived by his wife, Judith (Ferrel) Wilmer; daughter, Amy Wilmer (Glen Barzso); two grandchildren, Matthew Ruttenberg and Samantha Spagnola and husband Michael; three siblings, Betty Trawinski, Joan Young and Gerald Wilmer and wife Jill; special friend, Daniel Morris.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 10:30 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Inurnment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday.
