Homer Thomas Dickerman Jr, age 87 passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at his home in Coldwater, Missouri. He was born on October 3, 1936, in DeSoto, Missouri to Homer Dickerman Sr. and Kathryn Minnie (Taylor) Dickerman.
   
  
On September 27, 1958, in Illinois, he was united in marriage to Ora Ellen Shoemake, she survives at the home.
   
  
Other survivors include his two children – Robert & Tanya Dickerman and Kathy & Russell Ockerhausen; two brothers – Wendell (Betty) Dickerman and Carl (Pam) Dickerman; one granddaughter – Kate (Shane) Locklin and two great grandchildren – Grace and William Locklin.
   
  
Homer was a United States Marine Veteran; he had worked in law enforcement for many many years and was a detective for the City of Clayton Police Department and Wayne County Sheriff; he was a Nascar enthusiast and collector; he enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and his faithful companion, his dog "Missy"; he was a member of the Coldwater Methodist Church.
