Ina "Lucille" Vaughn

Ina Lucille Vaughn, known to most as Lucille, passed away February 15, 2022 in Eureka, Missouri at the age of 100 years. She was born October 5, 1921 in Pine Valley, Missouri the daughter of Emmitt and Olga Smith. Lucille was baptized September 5, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Lemay. She enjoyed her church and her family. She loved to write poetry and she was quite talented with the embroidery needle. In her younger years she loved to travel with her husband, Bob. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Arval Robert Vaughn who was known as Bob. He preceded her on November 24, 1999. Five of her sisters also preceded her; Helen Miller (Bernis), Shirley Bryant, Virginia Eby (Ray), Mildred Tomczak Hetmanski (Stash), and Glenda Tucker, and her brother; Emmitt Smith Jr. (Macy). Lucille is survived by her sister, Carolyn Schmaltz of Washington, Missouri and two brothers in law: Byron Tucker of Pilot Knob, Missouri and Jim Bryant of St. Louis, Missouri as well as a host of nephews, nieces, other...
