Iola Louise Ballew

Iola Louise Ballew, age 90, of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor. She was born on October 14, 935 in Womack, Missouri to the late Frederick Sr. and Marie (Dalton) Steffan.

In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Acy Edward Ballew; grandson, Marcus Ballew; two brothers, Charles Steffan and Frederick Steffan Jr; five sisters, Virgina Anthony, Verna Cartee, Viola Bellew, Iona Jarrett, and Naomi Cartee.

She enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and gardening. Louise had a caring heart; she would visit people and have engaging conversations. She loved the Lord and attended Twin Oaks Free Will Baptist Church when she could. Her greatest joy was her family.

Louise is survived by her loving son, Ronnie and wife Vicky Ballew; adoring grandchildren, Josh and wife Nikki Ballew, Matt and wife Jamie Ballew; great-grandchildren, Kayli Ballew, Nate Ballew, and Daniel Ballew; one brother, Bill and wife Mildred Steffan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Homes - Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM, with Reverend Tim Reed officiating. Interment will be at Silver Point Cemetery in Womack. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Homes - Wilson Chapel.
