Ira Ancel Lambert

Ira Ancel Lambert passed away with his family by his side November 12, 2016 in Middlebrook Missouri at the age of 94 years. He was born June 3, 1922 to the late Melvin and Stella (Stricklin) Lambert. On December 23, 1949, he was united in marriage to Reba Arlene Miller. To this union three children were born: Roy Douglas Lambert and wife Brenda of Middlebrook, Missouri, Althea Gay (Lambert) Brakefield and husband Roy of Park Hills, Missouri and John Alan Lambert and wife Linda of Middlebrook, Missouri. Ira is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, his children, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Loyal Lambert and wife Faye, his sister-in-laws Dorothy Lambert and Iness Morrison, his brother-in-laws Arthur Buford and Darrel Miller and wife June as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
