Ivan Huey Brown

Ivan Huey Brown of St. Charles, MO passed away April 13, 2015 in St. Charles, MO at the age of 83 years. He was born December 25, 1931 in Jewett, MO the son of Huey Edward and Willa Mae (Copeland) Brown. On October 27, 1956 he was united in marriage to Leota Fern King who survives. In addition to his wife, Ivan is survived by two sons; Terry Brown and Michael Brown both of St. Charles, MO. Also surviving is his brother, Jerry Brown of St. Charles, MO, two granddaughters; Sommer North and Rachel Rask, three great grandsons; Layne North, Peter Rask, and Jake Brown and a great granddaughter, Jordyn North as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ivan was preceded in death by two brothers; Otis Brown and Chester Brown, two sisters, Bernice Kelley and Nelly Louise Vogelpoel, and his grandson, Jeremy Brown. Ivan proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from McDonnell Douglas. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post in St. Charles.
