Mr. Jackie Dean "Jack" Cade, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015, in Farmington, at the age of 77 years, 4 months & 13 days. Jack was born on July 1, 1938, in Bertrand, MO., & was the son of George E. Cade & Pauline 'Richardson' Cade.
Jack was a US ARMY 'Special Forces' Green Beret/Airborne Veteran of the VietNam War, receiving the 'Meritorius Service Medal' The Silver Star & Purple Heart Awards (among many others). Jack retired from the US ARMY and was a former Commander of Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896, of Farmington; a longtime member & past Master of Farmington Masonic Lodge #132 AF/AM & Honorary Member of Pendleton Masonic Lodge #554. Jack was a Past Masonic Grand Master with the State of Missouri, & received the 'Best Lecturer' from the Grand Lodge for being one of 3 in the state of Missouri for the ability to recite. Jack was a former Segreant with the City of Farmington Police Department and Sheriff of St. Francois County.
Survivors Include: his wife, Sharon Kay Cade, of Farmington. 2 daughters - Cynthia Ann Clark, of Pinehurst, NC & Cathryn Lynn Cade, of Hamlet, NC. 4 step-daughters: Leha; Kellie; Kimberly & Tracy. 1 step-son, James. A sister, Rosemary Ratliff, of Eminence, MO & brother, Ben Cade, of Park Hills. Also surviving,numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
