Jackie Suzanne Mcanally

Jackie McAnally age 83, of Bonne Terre entered into rest with our loving God on September 19, 2016 at her son’s home in Irondale.  She was born December 12, 1932 in Fletcher, MO. to the late Fred and Verna (Torrance) Sparks. Jackie was a devoted homemaker. She loved caring for her garden and had a passion for writing poetry. She published her first book in 1999 titled “Silence of the Season”. She belonged to Parents of Murdered Children in St. Louis, Day by Day and Bereaved Parents in Potosi.  

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia; brother, Fred Sparks and a sister, Rita Farnham.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Leon McAnally; sons, Jeff McAnallly (Patty) and Chris McAnally; grandchildren, Heather Hampton (Jeff), Margie and Mary McAnally; great-grandchildren, Carly, Emma, Claudia, Emila, Hunter and Ava; brother, Joe Sparks.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dwight Jones officiating. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Desoto.
