Jacquelyn "Jackie" Ayers's Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Jacquelyn Sue “Jackie” Ayers, 71, of Farmington passed away April 6, 2026. She was born July 12, 1954 to the late Earl Boland and Alma Griffith. She was a woman of remarkable creativity and talent, whose hands could craft beauty out of nearly anything. She found great joy in making unique birdhouses from gourds, carefully painting each one with her own artistic touch. Her creativity shone brightly through the beautifully decorated windows she painted and the intricate stained glass pieces she created. She also lovingly made bears, each one a reflection of her patience and skill. Her artistry was not only seen in the things she made, but felt in the love and care she poured into every piece.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Bruce Ayers; brother, Russ Boland; sisters, Jean McBride and Joyce (Wayne) DeClue; step-father, Joseph Griffith.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Kerry Ayers; son, Aaron Ayers; two grandchildren, Jed Ayers and Logan Ayers; three siblings, Tommy Boland, Eric Boland and Debbie (Mike) Toney; sister-in-law, Mary Boland; brother-in-law, Dale McBride.
