James R. Barlow, 77, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home. He was born Saturday, January 27, 1940 in Frankclay to the late Mitchell and Daisy (Glore) Barlow. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Terry and Roger Barlow; and sister, Sandy Harmon. He attended Pendleton Baptist Church. James served his country in the United States Army.
James is survived by his wife of 56 years, Tanya Lee (Busenbark) Barlow; one daughter, Leslie Barlow; one son, Jim Barlow and wife Elizabeth “Libby” Barlow; five grandchildren, Marilyn Cunningham, Courtney Cunningham, Kayla Barlow, Benji Barlow, and Tori Barlow; three great-grandchildren, Abbigail, Heidi, and Spencer; brothers, Jesse Barlow and wife Judy, Tommy Barlow, and David Barlow and wife Doris; sisters, Alice Barlow, Mary Beth Barlow, and Linda Kitchell and husband Howard; and a special niece, Sharon Barlow.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Service will be Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Doug Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, MO with full military honors.
