James Clifford Huddleston, Sr., passed away Friday morning, August 12, 2016, in Granite City, Illinois, at the age of 90 years, 8 months & 20 days. Jim was born November 22, 1925, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and was the son of James G. Huddleston & Virgie 'Bolton' Huddleston. Also preceding in death were: his wife, Mary Helen 'Clutts' Huddleston (2013); and 8 sisters - Christine Chang; Minta Miller; Enid Bowles; Sylvia Hickman; Arvada McKinney; Betty Lou Huddleston; Wanda Huddleston & 1 other sister, in-infancy.
Jim was a US NAVY Veteran of World War II. Jim was a member of the Hurryville Free Will Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Triple Lodge #835 of Granite City, Illinois. Jim worked for the Army Depot in Illinois for 27.5 years.
Survivors Include : 2 daughters - Carolyn Sue Scott - of Granite City, IL; Theresa (& Carl) Funderburk, of Granite City, IL. 1 son - J. C. (& Brenda) Huddleston, of Potosi, MO. Also surviving are numerous Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; Great, Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation : Monday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Funeral : Monday, 1:00 p.m., August 15, 2016
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Elder J. C. Huddleston & Elder Michael Huddleston officiating.
LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders will lead the funeral procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, Leadington, for burial with Full Military Honors
