James Edward Degonia

James Edward DeGonia of Ironton, Missouri passed away April 26, 2017 in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 97 years, 6 months, and 25 days. He was born October 1, 1919 in Cadet, Missouri the son of the late William and Mary (Roderick) Degonia. On August 10, 1940 he was united in marriage to Mildred B. Myracle who survives. In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his daughter, Cheri Joan Lee (George Coleman) of Arcadia, Missouri, three grandchildren; Tonia Naug-Minks of Ironton, Missouri, Jamie Naug of Athens, Texas, and Michael Naug of Flower Mound, Texas, four great grandchildren; Blaise Naug, Kaleigh Naug, Teagan Minks, and Brianna Naug as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by eight brothers; Russell J. Degonia, Howard Degonia, Oscar Degonia, Ervin Degonia, Francis Degonia, Vincent Degonia, Robert Degonia, Bernard Degonia, and five sisters; Virgie Pinson, Bernice Boyer, Myrtle Pinson, Oneida Degonia, and Annie Degonia.
