James Forrester, 70 of Leadwood, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his residence.He was born February 16, 1942 in Potosi and later, proudly served his country in the The United States Army.James retired from lever Brothers in St. Louis, where he worked at a tow motor operator for 25 years. He was also a member of the Wortham Church of God. He is preceded in death by parents, Marion and Cora (Glore) Forrester; father in-law, Carl Lauer; grandson, Zachery Maxwell Forrester; brother in-law, Dwight Bradley; and nephew, Dwight Bradley Jr.. James is survived by wife, June Ellen (Lauer) Forrester; son, Jeffery (Jackie) Forrester of St. Louis; daughters, Marsha Killian of Ste. Genevieve, Tonya (Mike) Bierly of Durango, CO, Nicole (Joe) Fox of Hillsboro; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister, Doris Bradley also of Leadwood. The family will be accepting friends at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, October 12, 2012 at 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.The service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, with Chaplain Steve Stillman officiating.A private family burial is planned at a later date with full Military Honors.Memorials may be given to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
