James " Jim" Clayton Thomas

     James “Jim” Clayton Thomas, age 77, of Bonne Terre passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at his residence.  He was born on Saturday, February 19, 1944 in St. Louis. 

     Jim is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia M. Thomas; children, James John Thomas, Joseph Michael Thomas, David Clemons and Kimberly Thomas; siblings, Jeanne Kujuth and husband Harry, Joyce Wall; aunt, Nancy Moore along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Alice (Moore) Thomas; son, Donnie Watkins; brother, Joseph Thomas; brother-in-law, Charlie Wall.

     Jim served his country in the United States Marines. He was a truckdriver for over 30 years and was a member of Teamsters Local 600. He was very caring and loved his family dearly. He enjoyed watching the Cardinals and St. Louis Blues games.  From an early age he was fond of dogs and they were fond of him. He was just a sweet gentleman.

      Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00 PM until Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Chaplain Jenna Firehammer officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z.
