James "Jim" D. Baldwin

James D. Baldwin, age 79, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Cedarhurst Assisted Living in Farmington. He was born on Monday, January 17, 1944, in Ironton, Missouri, to the late James Richard and Maudra (Smith) Baldwin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, John Baldwin; and sister Sue Clark.

Jim was a member of the Arcadia Valley Methodist Church and was a long-time member of Arcadia Elks Lodge Post #2330. He owned and operated Baldwin Hardware Store in Ironton until his retirement. He enjoyed drag racing and corvettes, but most importantly, was his love for his daughter and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Kristie Camp and husband, Greg; two grandchildren, Cameron and Maci Lunsford; niece Robin Ridlon and nephew Rick Baldwin. Jim will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 6, 2023, at Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM., with Pastor Barron Willer officiating. In Jim’s memory, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
