James Lee Richardson

James Lee Richardson

            James Lee Richardson, age 90, of Bonne Terre, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at his daughter’s residence.  He was born on December 8, 1928 in Bonne Terre to the late Harvey and Myrtle (Sanders) Richardson.  James proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre. He was a tool and die maker/mechanic with White Rodgers where he retired.

            In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta Martin Cortopassi Richardson; two brothers, Harvey and Robert Leroy Richardson; five sisters, Juanita Martin, Dorothy Arenz, Norma, Betty Ann and Rita Richardson.

            He is survived by five children, Michael Richardson and wife Lorilee, Phillip Richardson and wife Perrie, Janice Pickens and husband Dwayne, Tammy Haar and husband Jim and Donna Haegele and husband Tom; brother, Harold Donald Richardson and wife Jackie; seventeen grandchildren, Tony Richardson, Lecy (Richardson) Wood, Lori (Richardson) Adams, Michelle (Richardson) Zweifel, Phillip and Ryan Richardson, Joseph, James, Jason, and Jake Huey, Krystal and Scott Jahn, Jennifer (Jahn) Hoechst, Andrea (Haegele) Reed, Stephen and Andrew Haegele, Ashley (Haegele) Ali; and thirty-one great grandchildren all survive.

             Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.   Mass service will begin at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Alzheimer’s Association.
