James Michael Logan, known to most as Mike, passed away suddenly on February 13, 2021 at the age of 36 years. He was born March 8, 1984 in Farmington, Missouri.
On February 13, 2010, he was united in marriage to Melissa Welch who survives and resides in DeSoto, Missouri. To this union was born a daughter, Lily Ann Logan, who Mike adored and affectionately called "Bug".
Mike is survived by his parents, Eugene and Linda (Ries) Logan of Lesterville, Missouri; two brothers, Joe (Amy) Logan of Lesterville, Missouri and Steve Logan of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; mother-in-law Kate (Bob) Spirk of St. Louis, Missouri; father-in-law Pat (Teresa) Welch of North Platte, Nebraska, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.
Mike was a High School Biology teacher for the Central School District. He also taught dual credit Biology classes, participated in organizing Scholar Bowl, sponsored the Science Alliance Club and was a member of the board of STOM (Science Teachers of...
