James E. Queen (Jim), age 66 of Adolphus, Kentucky, died on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 3:55 a.m. at Hospice of Southern Kentucky, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 27, 1949 in Ironton, Missouri the son of the late Harvey Queen and Rosalie (Reed) Fox who survives.
Jim was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 25 years. He served as a ministerial servant and attended the Kingdom Hall in Lafayette, Tennessee.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing guitar, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Yolanda Queen; seven children – Valerie (Joe) Armfield of Scottsville, Kentucky, Brian Cone of St. Louis, Missouri, Anthony (Diana) Queen of Lafayette, Tennessee, Robert (Jennifer) Queen of Leadwood, Missouri, Robin (Adrian) Funk of Louisville, Kentucky, Holly (Sean) Jones of Ashland City, Tennessee and Gabrielle Roberts of Scottsville, Kentucky, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
