James Larry Werley

James Larry Werley, 75, of Farmington, passed away July 26, 2025. He was born February 28, 1950 in St. Louis, MO to the late James Avery Werley and Ida Gladys (Allen) Werley. James was an adventurous spirit who found true joy in the great outdoors. Whether casting a line on a quiet morning, tracking game through the woods, or soaking up the sunshine while swimming and water skiing, he embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. Above all, he loved his three sons and adored his grandchildren, treasuring every moment spent with them.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Eads and two sisters, Sue Lawson and Grace Mushock.

Larry is survived by his three sons, Jesse Werley, Casey (Shannon) Werley and Jamie (Macie) Werley; grandchildren, Abagail, Mikinleigh, Khloe, Grace, Cason, Dawson, Faye and Farrah; great-grandchild, Kyler; sister, Lori Hurt; and special friend, Nancy Thomas.

A memorial visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home -Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 4:00 PM until the time of a memorial service at 6:00 PM with Rev. Shannon Davis officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
