Jan (Vaughn) Mills

            Jan Mills, 62, of Park Hills, passed away November 21, 2018, at her daughter’s residence under Hospice care.  She was born May 28, 1956, in Bonne Terre, MO, to the late Hobart and Wanda Vaughn. Jan served her community as a nurse, caring for the aged and infirm. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and helping others.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John Mills and Stanley Cole; and daughter Amanda Vaughn.

             Jan is survived by her children, Angie Gipson (Jim Gipson), Adam Cole; five grandchildren, KJ, Kaden, Kaelynne, Kajler, Ashlynn; siblings Vicki (Dick) Holdman, Sherry Smith, Hobbie (Kathy) Vaughn, Carlos (Beth) Vaughn; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

             Memorial Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 6:00 PM until Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Johnny Gipson officiating.
