Janet Davis

            Janet Davis, 73, of Farmington, passed away October 8, 2018, at her home. She was born December 13, 1944, in Cadet, to the late Douglas Clarence and Irene Marie (Martin) McMahan. Janet attended the New Heights Church and had been employed at Handicraft for 41 years. She loved to cook, quilt, and watch western on television. Janet was a John Wayne fan.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse of 43 years, James Paul Davis; grandson, Daniel Allen Lindsey; one brother, Lloyd McMahan; and two sisters, Joanne Boyer and Lestie Hayes.

            Janet is survived by her children, Debra Lynn Lindsey of Farmington, Connie Bergmann and husband Jerry of Troy, and Treasa Ann Green of Farmington; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four siblings, Erma (Daniel) Dennis, Bonnie (Ronald) DeClue, Audrea McMahan, and Vernon (Debra) McMahan.

            A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, October 12, 2018, from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM. Pastor Rocky Good will be officiating. An inurnment will take place at a later at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
