Janet R. Mecey

Janet Renee Mecey, 70 of French Village passed away June 3, 2011. She was born April 9, 1941 in St. Louis. She was a member of the St. Anne Catholic Church and St. Vincent DePaul. She enjoyed singing and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann (Gore) Yattoni; two daughters, Nancy Barks and Marti Mecey; sister-in-law, Susie Mecey. Janet is survived by her husband, Ronald "Joe" Mecey; three children, Christina Penrod, John Ezell, Sr. and Michael Mundschenk; seven grandchildren, Jonny Baner, Lawrence Cook, Joanna Schwalbert, Steven Cook, Jaime Ezell, John Ezell, Jr. and Jessie Barks; three great-grandchildren; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Lawrence (Marilyn) Mecey, Ralph Mecey, Judy Eager, Henry (Mary) Mecey, Diane (Bob) Helms and Billy (Kim) Mecey. Visitation will be Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 4 PM until 8 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday at 10 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church with Rev. John Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in West Frankfort, IL.
