Janet Ruth Smith

Janet Ruth Smith, 78, of Bonne Terre, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at her residence in Bonne Terre, Missouri. She was born Thursday, December 10, 1942 in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Courtland and Leona (Lee) Turley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Dale Smith as well as a brother, Albert Turley, and sister, Virginia Bourne.

Janet is survived by her brother, Larry Turley and special cousin and dear friend, Lois Leftridge, step son Stephen (wife Rosemary) Smith, Sr. step grandson, Stephen Smith, Jr. along with several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Janet enjoyed listening to music, reading, going to yard sales and spending lots of time with her fur babies. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:00 am until service time 1:00 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Pastor Alan David officiating. Interment will be at Bonne Terre Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
