Janice Lee Bay

            Janice Bay, 69, of Desloge, passed away November 2, 2018, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. She was born November 30, 1948, in Ironton, to the late Alexander Sylvestor and Hazel Marie (Silvy) Ruegg. Janice was a member of the First Baptist Church of Desloge and a member of the Eastern Star of Piedmont and Desloge. She enjoyed traveling, singing in the church choir, bowling, fishing and enjoyed time with her grandchildren.

            She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joey Bay.

            Janice is survived by two daughters, Buffy Dischbein and husband Kory, Joanna Miller and husband Eddie; grandchildren, Khloe and Mason Dischbein with another on the way, Ava and Elise Miller; brother, Jim Ruegg and wife Frances.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, November 9, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to the Parkland Pregnancy Resource Center.
