Jason Todd “J.T.” Warren passed away surrounded by family on July 19, 2024, at the age of 50 years. He was born August 20, 1973, the youngest son of Charles LaVerne and Vivian Elane (Toppins) Warren of Park Hills, Missouri. In addition to his parents, J.T. is survived by his longtime partner, Tricia Ann Cobb and their son, Liam Quinn Warren of Leasburg, Missouri; his two older sons: Maison Keith (Irma) Warren and granddaughter Wren; Jakob Taylor (Megan) Warren and granddaughter, Juniper, all of the Springfield, Missouri area; Tricia’s two older children: Keegan Michael Cobb and Chloe Eileen Cobb both of Leasburg, Missouri. J.T. is also survived by his two brothers: David (Flora) Warren of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Daniel (Mitzi) Warren of Bonne Terre, Missouri as well as loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. J.T. was a 1991 graduate of Central High School, where he excelled in wrestling. He worked most of his life as a “professional driver”. J.T. loved fishing and spending time at the firing range. He enjoyed collecting comic books and Star Wars memorabilia, acquiring an impressive collection of both. J. T. was a voracious reader and researcher who could hold his own in a debate about virtually any topic, particularly politics. His favorite pastime, however, was spending time with family – barbecuing and bonfires, floating the river, listening to Jimmy Buffett music, and laughing, but most especially watching Liam play football. J.T.’s sense of humor, sarcasm, wit and wisdom will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, 7:00 p.m. at Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brent Reed officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Liam Warren Scholarship Fund at any First State Community Bank location.
