Jean Detring

Mrs. Alma Jean Detring passed away at her Farmington residence on Wednesday evening, December 22, 2010, at the age of 81 years, 8 months & 20 days. Jean was born on April 2, 1929, in Farmington, and was the daughter of Guy Earl Haney & Thelma Amanda 'Hawthorne' Haney. Also preceding-in-death were 2 brothers: Charles Haney, in-infancy & Earl G. Haney.

Jean was: * a member of the Eastern Star Lodge; * a member of The Farmington Christian Church & * worked as a X-Ray technician for 40+ years at all local hospitals.

Survivors Include: her husband, Van Detring. 2 Sons: Terry (& Cara) Detring; Randy Detring - all of Farmington. 4 Grandchildren: Jeremy (& Lindsey) Detring; Christine Detring; Amanda (& Jason) Buchanan; Brandi (& Tim) Craig. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Logan Graham, Bryce Eugene & Hutson Buchanan. Cale Craig & Milton Van Detring. Also surviving are numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation: Monday, 4-9 p.m. with a EASTERN STAR service @ 7 pm. Visitation resumes Tuesday @ 6:30 am.

Funeral: Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., December 28, 2010,

at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Dale Berck officiating.

Interment follows at Libertyville Christian Cemetery, Libertyville, Missouri.
