Jeanne Forrester

Jeanne Marie Forrester (Edgar), of Desloge, Missouri, passed away peacefully after a long journey with Alzheimer's, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Community Manor Nursing Home in Farmington at the age of 70. She was born on November 7, 1955, in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Robert and Anna (Rosener) Edgar.

Jeanne graduated from Central High School in 1974 and Mineral Area College in 1992 with an Associate Degree in Science. She retired from Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center and JD Street in Farmington. She also worked many years at Mineral Area Hospital and in other health care positions. Jeanne enjoyed shopping and traveling. She loved to be around family and friends.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Susan Kaye Lawson and brother-in-law Randall Lawson.

She is survived by daughter Tanya (Shawn) Arnack; 4 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; sisters Cheryl (Terry) Hagerty, Tracy Edgar; friend Beverly Skaggs; brothers, Steve (Jody) Edgar, Donald Edgar, Randall (Donna) Edgar; many nieces and nephews; family and friends also survive. Jeanne was very loved and will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills, Friday, October 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Reverend Thomas Saucier will be officiating. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association in Jeanne’s memory.
