It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeremy Arthur Weir, who left this world on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Mercy Jefferson surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on Tuesday, April 5, 1983, in St. Louis, Missouri, Jeremy lived a life marked by resilience and an unwavering spirit, despite facing significant challenges.

Jeremy is survived by his devoted mother, Tina (Weir) Cain; stepfather, Jerry Cain, Jr; father, Robert Grisham; cherished brother, Christopher Pinkley; sister-in-law, Teresa Pinkley; nephews, Tucker and Carson Pinkley. He is also remembered fondly by his grandmother, Sandra Pinky, whose love was a guiding light throughout his life. Jeremy also held a special bond with his dear friends Sara, Nick, and Corey, whose friendship and support meant so much to him. He will also be deeply missed by his beloved dog, Chili, who brought him comfort, companionship, and unconditional love throughout the years.

Jeremy was preceded in death by Marion Weir, Donald Pinky, Jerry Cain, Sr., grandmothers, Marilyn Grisham and Nina Cain.Jeremy enjoyed many activities throughout his life that reflected his adventurous spirit and love for others.

During his school years, he proudly played in the high school band, where his instrument of choice was the silver trumpet. He also participated in high school soccer, golf, and baseball, and loved riding BMX bikes with his brother. Jeremy found great joy in music and was a devoted fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He was also an avid collector of Superman memorabilia, a reflection of the strength and heroism he admired.

After his accident, Jeremy continued to inspire those around him with his determination and positivity. One of his greatest joys was coaching kindergarten soccer, where he shared his love of the game and brought encouragement and smiles to the children he coached.As a graduate at West County high school, Jeremy possessed an inquisitive mind and a generous heart. He touched many lives with his kindness and warmth, qualities that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As a disabled individual, he demonstrated remarkable courage and strength, inspiring those around him to look beyond obstacles and embrace each moment with joy.Jeremy’s departure leaves a void that will be felt deeply by family and friends. We choose to celebrate his life by honoring his memory and the love he shared with us all. May Jeremy Weir’s soul rest in peace, embraced in the loving arms of eternity, while his spirit continues to inspire and uplift those he leaves behind.

May there also be comfort in knowing that his beloved fur baby, Sasha, was waiting to greet him at the pearly gates.Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at C.Z. Boyer & Son, Desloge Chapel from 10:00 AM until service time of 12:00 PM with officiant Pastor Alan Dane. Graveside service to follow at Leadwood Cemetery in Leadwood, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeremy’s memory to Spinal Cord Research at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, a testament to the spirit of determination that characterized his life.
