Jerry Dale Vivrett

It is with much love that the family of Jerry Vivrett announces his passing on November 23, 2023, at the age of 79. Jerry will be cherished by his wife of 57 years, Paula (Cook) Vivrett, daughter Kelly Amsden and the Joy of his life, his grandson, Jessy James Amsden. Also survived by sisters Pat and Fran as well as his loyal friend Chris. He was born to the late Clem and Pauline (Hampton) Vivrett.

Jerry retired from the Department of Corrections and Mineral Area College as a teacher. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed antiquing, and spending time entertaining friends at his pool house. Jerry also enjoyed loading his fireplace, fishing, and mowing grass. Most of all he loved spending time with Jessy.

At Jerry’s request there will be a Celebration of Life with a Keg of beer and plenty of cups outside at his home on Saturday, December 2, 2023, between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The family would like to thank Jessica from Elara Home Health, Adrienne and Chelsea from Preferred Hospice, Julie Lewis and special friend Sharon Henson for helping take care of Jerry. Arrangements are under the care and direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son – Farmington Chapel.
