Jerry Don Armstrong

Jerry “J. D.” Armstrong, age 67, of Valles Mines, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on Sunday, January 17, 1954 in St. Louis.  He was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Rilla Mae (Ricky) Armstrong and a brother-in-law, Ronnie "Griz".  J.D. proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired as a welder from J.B. Marine and enjoyed going fishing when he was able. 

J.D. is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Elaine (Clark) Armstrong; two sons, Josh and Arron Armstrong; three grandchildren; siblings, Mike Manning and wife Cheryl and Sharon; three nieces, Cindy Henry, Wendy Henry, Amber (Jake) Shultz and other family and friends.

 J.D.’s wishes were to be cremated and no formal services to be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
