Jerry Dean Hafley

Jerry Dean Hafley of Ironton, Missouri passed away September 7, 2023 at his home at the age of sixty-five years. He was born May 24, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Bill and Letha (Foster) Hafley. Jerry is survived by his children: Jeremy Hafley and Nicole Hafley, three brothers: Randy Guinn, Michael Hafley and Junior Hafley, and his sister; Diane Guinn, and many other family members and friends. Jerry attended Ellington High School until the age of 17, at which time he chose to join the military. He served our country in the United States Army. After he left the Army, he worked for Laclede Gas in St. Louis. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and all different kinds of music. Growing up, Jerry attended the First Baptist Church of Centerville, Missouri. Jerry will be laid to rest at Smith Cemetery in the family plot with his mother.
