Jerry L. Gazaway

Mr. Jerry L. Gazaway passed away Sunday morning, August 21, 2011, at his Farmington residence at the age of 52 years, 6 months & 10 days. Jerry was born Feb. 11, 1959, in St. Louis & was the son of Melva 'Nelson' Gazaway & the late Donald Gene Gazaway (1988). Also preceding in death were his grandparents, Melvin & Nota Gazaway & uncle & aunt, Glen & Betty Nelson.

Jerry was a US Postal Inspector and a US Air Force Veteran.

Survivors Include: his mother, Melva 'Nelson' Gazaway, and his grandmother, Iowa Pruyn, both of Farmington. One daughter, Kelly Ann Gazaway, of St. Louis; One son, Jason Gazaway. One sister, Melissa A. (& Todd) Umfleet, of Park Hills; One brother, David (& Wendy) Gazaway, of Sullivan, MO. 3 Aunts: Bonnie (& Don) Bochard, of Brentwood, MO; Katherine Stewart, of Farmington; Melva (& Bob) Beman, of White, GA. Nieces & Nephews: Jacob Umfleet, Jeremy & Rachael, Tyler & Michael Gazaway. Also surviving are numerous cousins.

Visitation : Tuesday, 5-8 pm Visitation resumes Wednesday, 6:30 am

Funeral : Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., August 24, 2011

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Greg McCord officiating.

Interment (Wed, 2 pm) : Nelson Family Cemetery, Reyno, Ark.
