Jerry Andrew Mann of Middlebrook, Missouri and formerly of Redford, Missouri passed away February 14, 2023, in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 89 years. He was born January 27, 1934, in Redford, Missouri the son of the late Doyle Tony and Goldie Mae (Johnston) Mann. On March 19, 1955, he was united in marriage to Mildred Rose Williams who survives. To this union three children were born; Michael Mann who preceded him in death, Sandra Walters (Dale) of Poulsbo, Washington, and Brian Mann (Tracey) of O’Fallon, Missouri. Jerry is survived by one sister: Doris Grey of Arnold, Missouri, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and son, Jerry was preceded in death by two sisters; Norma Parker and Lorene Charlton and three brothers; Oren Mann, Eugene Mann, and Billy Joe Mann. Jerry was a retired truck driver. He worked for Road Runner Express and was a member of Teamsters Local 600. In his free time he loved to hunt and ride horses. He enjoyed riding ATV’s and was known to make his own trails. He was somewhat of a daredevil who was quite stubborn. This led to some interesting situations at times. He also enjoyed watching old westerns on TV. Jerry was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Des Arc when he lived in Redford. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Don Dement officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Mann Cemetery in Annapolis. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
