The Man, The Legend, Jerry Richard Wagnon Jr. was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, friend, and neighbor. He was a here for the party kind of guy, the #1 brisket cooker of Iron County, and an all and all good guy. Jerry was born November 2, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Jerry Richard Wagnon Sr. of Cullman, Alabama and Diane Marie (Ludeman) Wagnon (Bill Weber) of North Lake, Illinois. He passed away May 24, 2023 at Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 55 years. Jerry began driving a truck for Schneider National in 1992. He has driven three million safe miles accident free. He received numerous awards throughout his career for safe driving. He was a member of the Arcadia Valley Elks and the Arcadia Valley Eagles. Jerry smoked the meat for numerous fund raisers and charity benefits. He was very generous and it pleased him to help others. He loved to hunt and fish. Jerry enjoyed farming, going for side x side rides, and was just an all-around outdoors kind of guy. On May 8, 2010 he was united in marriage to Jennifer Robin Inman and she survives. In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kayla Dennison (Joseph Murray) of Farmington, Missouri, and his son, Jeremiah Wagnon (Cheyenna Martin) of Arcadia, Missouri. Two siblings survive: Chris Wagnon (Nicole) of Port Angeles, Washington, and Wendy Wagnon of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Jerry loved all his family and his in laws were very important to him. Those who survive include sisters-in-law: Jeanette Rennie (Roy), Brenda Barton (Dan Eaves), Maryann Davis (Greg Lawrence), Pam Edwards (Jim), Tammy Gray (Ed Moss), Suzanne Blevins (Adrian) and his brothers-in-law: Jackie Inman, Melvin Inman (De), Rick Inman (Amanda) and Larry Inman (Gale). Jerry was preceded in death by his sister; Brenda Wagnon, his father and mother-in-law; Jack and Elsie Inman, four brothers-in-law: Guy Barton, David Blankenship, Bill Gray, and John Roebuck and two sisters-in-law: Bev Inman and Missy Inman. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Bryson Funeral Home with Darrell Harper officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park. Chris Wagnon, Steve Pippin, Greg Lawrence, Robbie Barton, Keith Craig, and Jeremy Brockes will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Arcadia Valley Sports Complex.
