Jerry Wayne Shumate

Mr. Jerry Wayne Shumate, of Farmington, Missouri passed away late Thursday evening, May 11, 2017, at the Camelot Nursing Center, in Farmington, at the age of 72 years, 3 months & 9 days. Jerry was born on February 2, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, and was the son of Clarence Roscoe Shumate (dec'd 1993) & Queen Esther 'Farley' Shumate (dec'd 1995). Also preceding in death was a great-niece, Oakley Rose Shumate.

Jerry was a retired Welder & Fabricator and a member of the Foothills Car Club of Fredericktown.

Survivors Include: a sister, Donna Vandiver, of Farmington, and a brother, Ronald Lee (& Karen) Shumate, of Desloge. Nieces & Nephews : Jeff (& Crystal) Vandiver; Alex Shumate (& fiance' Kayla Phares); Jeremiah Shumate (& fiance' Bethany Brown); and Kaylee Shumate. Great-nieces & Great-nephews: Blake & Macy Vandiver; Maddie & Hayven Phares, and Joslynn Shumate.

Visitation starts : Tuesday @ 1:00 p.m.

Memorial Service : Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., May 16, 2017

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Kenny Vandiver officiating.

Interment follows at K-P Cemetery, Farmington
