Mr. Jesse Lee Ritter passed away Thursday morning, June 9, 2005, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis County, at the age of 85 years, 2 months & 14 days. Jesse was born on March 25, 1920, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Jesse Lee Ritter & Jennie Beatrice 'Eads' Ritter.

Jesse was: * a member of the First United Methodist Church of Park Hills; * a member & past-Master of the Elvins Ionic Masonic Lodge #154, of Desloge; * he retired from St. Joe Lead Company & * was united in marriage on July 8, 1941, to Mary Lynn Brewen.

Survivors Include: His WIFE: Mary Lynn 'Brewen' Ritter, of Desloge; 2 DAUGHTERS: Janet 'Mrs. Raymond' Hayden, of Keithville, LA; & Ruth Ann 'Mrs. David' Adkins, of Springfield, IL. 1 SON: John (& Carolyn) Ritter, of Desloge; 2 SISTERS: Doris Radford, of Farmington & Pat Callahan, of Granite City, IL; 1 BROTHER: David (& Irene) Hart, of Malden, MO; 7 GRANDCHILDREN: Colleen (& James) Gilliam; Denise (& Frank) Allen; Kenneth (& Traci) Ritter; Kathryn (& David) Lewis; David (& Collette) Adkins; Rebecca & Mark Adkins. 9 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Coy & Grant Judd; Shannon; Jared & Kolten Ritter; Kohl Lewis; Kayla Adkins; Kaitlyn Thompson & Samantha.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, 2 pm, June 13, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church, Park Hills, with Rev. Eddie Bone officiating.

Visitation: Jesse's family will receive friends, starting Monday at Noon at the church. There will be no burial, as Jesse donated his body to the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis.
