Jessie Jo Nations

Mrs. Jessie Jo (Dickson) Nations passed away at her Rolla, Missouri, residence Saturday evening, January 5, 2013, at the age of 94 years, 2 months & 2 days. She was born on November 3, 1918, in Montevallo, Missouri, and was the daughter of Josiah William Dickson and Fiadella Mae 'Farbaugh' Dickson. Also preceding-in-death were : her husband, Kermit Warren Nations (Feb. 25, 1998); 3 Sisters - Amanda "Dixie" Merrick; Anita Dickson & Mary Katherine Dingle; also, 2 Brothers - Joe Dickson & James Dickson.

Jessie was united in marriage to Kermit W. Nations on March 29, 1941. She graduated from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. She was a member of the Ozark Highlands Christian Church of Rolla and the Eastern Star Lodge #176. She retired from the University of Missouri @ Rolla (UMR).

Survivors Include : 2 Daughters - Carol "Pip" (& Ted) Gledhill, of Lake Forest, Illinois; Linda Sue (& John) Broach, of Centennial, Colorado. 2 Grandchildren - Dr. John (& Katie) Broach, II, of Marlborough, Massachusetts & Dr. Vance (& Emily) Broach, of Chicago, Illinois.

There Will Be No Visitation.

Memorial Service : Sunday, 2 pm, Jan. 20, 2013, with Rev. David Roush & Rev. Mindy Kiepe officiating.

at : Ozark Highlands Christian Church - 10550 County Rd. 3060 - Rolla, MO. 65401 - under direction of Taylor Funeral Service, Inc.

Inurnment will be with her beloved Kermit at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis
