Mrs. Jessie Mae Sloan passed away late Monday morning, July 26, 2010, at the Community Manor Nursing Home, in Farmington, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 6 days. Jessie was born on January 20, 1935, in Thayer, Missouri, and was the daughter of Clifton T. Douglas and Ida Faye 'Wallace' Douglas. Also preceding-in-death was a brother, Leonard Douglas.

Jessie was a longtime, faithful member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington. She was a retired Payroll Clerk from Trimfoot Shoe Company in Farmington. Jessie was a member of: * Chapter #430 of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of * LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416 Ladie's Auxiliary of Farmington.

Survivors Include: her husband, Tom Sloan; 1 daughter, Camilla "Cami" Sloan and 1 son, Jere Scott Sloan, all of Farmington. 2 brothers: Wallace D. (& Trudy) Douglas, of California; Billy Joe Douglas, of Carlsbad, New Mexico. 3 Grandchildren: Shane Ferguson, of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; Uriah Sloan & Jera Sloan, both of Farmington.

There will be No Visitation.

Services : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., July 31, 2010, starting with an American Legion Auxiliary service, then the OES Chapter #430 service, followed by the Memorial Service.

at : Memorial United Methodist Church, with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating.
