Jessie "Nadine" Smith

Jessie “Nadine” Smith, 82, of Farmington, passed away on July 16, 2026, at home surrounded by family. She was born on September 16, 1943, in Iron County, MO, to the late Heasel and Melbourne (Phegley) Skaggs. She was a member of the Iron Mountain Assembly of God Church. Nadine loved taking care of her grandkids and helping to raise them. She also loved to swim, cook and crochet.

Nadine is survived by her daughters, Lisa Ann Berry and Carletta (K.J) Genenbacher; five grandchildren Ashley (Mike) McClanahan, Summer (Austin) Frederick, Carly Genenbacher, Garrett Berry and Kyle Genenbacher; seven great-grandchildren, Khalid, Sage, Elliott, Waylon, Everett, Cyrus and Acadia; siblings Melba Enderlie of Springfield, MO, Margaret (John) Gibson of Bismarck, MO, Virginia “Jenny” (Rick) Light of Ellington, MO; sisters-in-law, Linda and Wanna Skaggs and brothers-in-law, Paul Usher and Charles “Chuck” Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Leroy Smith; siblings, William Skaggs Sr., Maxine Nichols, Earlene Morris, Sonny Skaggs and Betty Usher.
